Mr. Sanjay Kaul, a Fellow of Energy Institute UK, is an EIT (Energy Infrastructure and Transportation) subject matter expert. He has been a practicing Advisor and Leader for more than 3.5 decades in areas of policy & regulatory environment, corporate governance, Investment promotion and project management. He has worked for Energy companies (Shell, Chevron), Consulting Firms (Deloitte, PwC) and Infrastructure Funds. He has established industry oriented Universities from where more than 18,000 students have graduated with industry specialization. He also established India’s first Continuing Education School in Energy which has trained over 17,500 working professionals in two decades. Currently Founder of Sanmarg Group which has delivered over 100 plus design, construction, project management, operation, maintenance, audit & inspection assignments for energy assets Pan India in a decade.

Dr. DC Patra superannuated from the services of Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) on 31st October 2021 as Executive Director (Planning), after 34 years long tenure. As Executive Director, Planning, Dr. Patra was a member of the senior management team in BPCL. Dr. Patra’s career in BPCL was spread over such marketing domains as POL operation, LPG marketing, logistics management, international trade, infrastructural development and corporate planning. Dr. Patra had a two years stint (1985-1987) in the Department of Economic Analysis and Policy, Reserve bank of India at Mumbai. During this phase, Dr. Patra had the opportunity to analyze the functioning of the Indian economy through practicing economists’ views. He is the author of 3 books and 45 published papers. He has extensively worked in the area of Petro Economics and energy transition.

Dr. Mukesh Saxena has more than four decades of experience in academics and research. During his career, he had the opportunity to grow from a Research Scientist, Professor, Head of Department/ Division, Pro- Vice Chancellor to the position of Vice Chancellor. He has served more than three decades at the Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun, and subsequently more than 16 years in academics at University of Petroleum & Energy Studies, Dehradun, University of Technology and Management and MIT University of Meghalaya, Shillong. His interest in R&D relates to development of Engines, Combustion, Application of Alternative Fuels Like alcohols, CNG, LPG, DME, Biogas, Hydrogen, etc., besides Automotive Emissions and GHGs. In academics, he has been instrumental in launching many new programs such as Automotive Design Engineering, Mechatronics, Materials & Nanotechnology, Automotive Electronics, School of Design, etc.Teaching, guiding Ph.D. scholars and research projects were regular engagements besides academic administration.
