TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. The Hydrogen Technology, Application and Economics certification program has to be completed by the student within ninety calendar days from the date the student is issued the confirmation of Admission and is provided access to the program. In case the student is unable to complete it in the prescribed time, no certification shall be issued. In case the certification is desired, the student has to take admission in the program again and pay the requisite fee prevalent at the time of fresh admission.
  2.   3. The program is divided into four sessions and these four sessions have three modules each in them. The student has to complete all the modules within three months prescribed duration and attain at least 60% marks in the tests and project work. The student shall be provided access to the course material and directed reading of the next session only after the completion of evaluation of the preceding session. Only upon successful completion of the course (which included successful evaluation), a certificate shall be issued by IESD to the student at the sole discretion to be exercised by IESD.

  5. The course is priced at INR 8,999/- inclusive of GST @18% and for International Students at USD$130. (This may vary as per the current exchange rate)Seats are limited.The fees is to be paid in full at the time of registration. Options to pay by Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking and Wallets are available. We are offering 10% discount to woman (18 and above) candidates who may be inter- ested to pursue this certification program. This fee is non-refundable except in circumstances where the admission is refused by IESD after registration and payment.
  6. Evaluation methodology: Evaluation will be done after completion of each session (four sessions in total), which will include all directed reading and video sessions. After completing all four sessions, student shall be required to undertake Project work (Module 12).A student will be evaluated for 100 marks. 50 full marks will be allotted to 11 modules. 25 full marks will be for project work (12th module). Remaining 25 marks will be for Viva. Student has to attain minimum 60 marks in total in order to get certified.Each module shall have 5 questions for practice (Multi- ple choice, True/ False Statements/ Short and Long answer questions) at the end. These questions are prac- tice / revision questions and shall hold no weightage in the 100 marks allotted.After each session, there will be evaluation in the form of quiz and multiple choice questions.After finishing Session 3, a 15 minute Viva of 25 marksshall be held. This shall be an interactive session. After finishing all Sessions, student has to submit project work (500-1000 words) which will be of 25 marks. Some topics shall be provided by IESD but the student can come up with their own topic also with the approval of their allotted coach for the project work. The project work should have a clear introduction, background literature / research / theo- ries, a comprehensive critical analysis in case of a secondary research or self research observations or experience in case of primary research and a conclusion. The project work will conform to guide- lines issued to the student. The student shall not engage in any form of fraud or plagiarism and shall undertake proper referencing of all the sources of text / diagrams.
  7. A student will get only one opportunity of evalua- tion per session. He / she however may get an option for re-evaluation if, a request is made within 30 days of first evaluation with evaluation fee of Rs 1000/-. A student having paid the evaluation fee would only get one more opportunity to go through the evalua- tion process. If that is done, the result of only the second evaluation shall be taken as final. For any submitted work or test, the evaluation once done is final.
  8. At any point of time during the duration of the course, if the student requires any guidance or further explanation of any topic in the modules, they can reach out to the Buddy coach allotted to them or write at [email protected] and if required a call back or a virtual one to one session with a guide/ advisor shall be arranged at the earliest upon mutual convenience of both.

  9. IESD shall have the right to use the content received as project reports for teaching and course updating purpose including sharing it as sample with other students.
  10. Plagiarism and unethical behavior: IESD shall not tolerate any intended plagiarism or plagiarism that is undertaken by any student or prospective candidate in their written project work nor will it toler- ate any unfair and unethical practice or behavior such as cheating, impersonation etc. Please note that this can result into a criminal offense and IESD has the right to undertake legal action against such students and prospective candidates and cancel their admission. If plagiarism or impersonation or any unethical or fraudulent behavior is detected after the award of certificate, the certificate shall be withdrawn and the particulars of the canceled certifi- cate will be posted on IESD website.
  11. Data Privacy & Protection. The students agree and understand that it is necessary for IESD to collect, process, use and share student’s data including to the third parties in order to process Certi- fications, Exam scores, conduct placements, provide referral and qualification checks and confirm compli- ance with policies and applicable laws.
  12. The enrolled student may not assign their rights or obligations under these Terms and Conditions. Any unauthorized assignment will be void. A waiver of any breach or default under these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent breach or default. If a court of compe- tent jurisdiction holds that any provision of these Terms and Conditions is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining portions will remain in full force and effect, and the parties will replace the invalid or unenforceable provision with a valid and enforceable provision that achieves the original intent of the parties. These Terms and Conditions, including any additional terms, constitute the entire agreement between IESD and enrolled student and supersede all prior negotiations, agreements, and understand- ings with respect to the subject matter, and no addi- tion to or deletion from or modification of any of the provisions hereto shall be binding upon IESD unless made in writing and signed by an authorized repre- sentative of IESD. Any term or condition on any other document submitted by the enrolled student shall be of no force or effect whatsoever, and is specifically rejected. IESD reserves the right to change this Agreement at any time and without notice. Notices of changes to the Agreement will be given by IESD posting the changes on the IESD Web site and will be deemed given when posted.
  13. Jurisdiction: Any dispute shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with laws of India and Courts at Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
  14. Although utmost care has been taken to refer- ence and to respect copyright of the content in this program, however if any content is found to be improperly referenced or the referencing is missing or is copyright violation of any nature, it should be brought to our notice at [email protected] at the earliest and it would be rectified immediately. Please note that such an omission or error is absolutely unintentional in nature and not liable for any legal action.
  15. Disclaimer : This course has been designed for upgradation of general knowledge of working profes- sionals employed from three to eighteen years or self employed for similar duration. The Certification when completed does not claim to certify any skill or competence of any student. This course is also not Accredited by any Govt Agency or regulatory body. The course also does not guarantee any eligibility or qualification for any vocation or profession.

DEFINATIONS:

  1. STUDENT: A person who has applied for admission by registering his / her particulars, paid requisite fee and received formal communication regarding admission.
  2. REGISTRATION: The process of submitting ones particulars for the purpose of admission, payment of fee and accepting of Terms and Conditions of the admission.
